Death died on a Friday night
Displayed in a way for the world to see
The wages of sin for all mankind
Proxied by a “Man-God” nailed to a tree
The only employment death ever had
Was to bring suffering to the lives of men
Death had no next of kin to leave behind,
But it left destruction, and many other friends
Death died on a Friday night
Yet it still affects the lives of many to this day
If you claim the name of the “Man-God” slain
Then death can never take your life away
