Heart Strings

Have you ever tugged on the Heartstrings of God?
Have you ever tried to change his mind?
Have you ever found yourself pulling on the hem of his garment?
You couldn't stop calling His name
And you couldn't seem to stop crying

That’s why it's good to be intimate with God
Close enough that He knows your voice, and your face
If you dwell inside of His presence
You’ll receive blessings, Mercy, and Grace

Someone might tell you, don’t even bother
His mind is already set
He won't change a thing

His ways are always the same, they might say
But don't you ever stop praying.
Just keep calling on His name
Keep tugging on God's heartstrings
