I AM

I Am your father,
The provider, and protector that you need

I Am your mother,
No sweeter love will you find than me

I Am your friend,
Through sunshine, rain, or storm

I Am the same each and every day
And My Word, you can depend on

I Am your employer,
I paid the price for your life, and now you work for me

I Am the Good Shepherd
I need you to help gather my lost sheep

Each day that you awake my child
I prove my love to you
I AM the one who continues to give you life,
For it is My breath that you breathe

I never told you that I used to be, or that I might be
I said that I AM,
and I Am everything you will ever need
