On My Knees

I love the Lord
He heard my cry
He never asked me for credit references
He never questioned my reasons why
He just looked into my heart
and He translated my tears
He reassured all of my doubts
and He took away my fears
He looked beyond what man could see,
and He took the time to minister to me
The Lord meets my needs,
…when I am on my knees
That is where I find my greatest strength
Where the worries cease and the joys begin
No, it's not the only way that I prefer to pray
But God meets my needs, on my knees
And that is where He will find me today
