Reflections

What would I be doing today,
If the Lord had not touched my life?
What would have happened to me,
If He had not prayed for me last night?
What if He had not come in the flesh,
And shown me another way?
What if He had never died on the cross,
And risen on the third day?
What if He had not proven to me,
That His love for me is true?
What if He had not left His Holy Spirit,
For sinners like me and you?

It’s because He touched my life,
That I have the strength to stand.
It’s because He prayed for me last night,
That I have another chance
It’s because He came in the flesh,
That I know He understands.
It’s because He has already died for me,
That I have been born again.
It’s because He proved His true love to me,
I know how to love even my enemies.
It’s because He left His Holy Spirit,
That I am no longer bound, but I am free.
