The Wings of Prayer

The wings of your prayers
Have always been able to intercede
Soaring upward to the throne room
Asking God for more grace and mercy

The wings of your prayers
Have always been comforting
Wrapping themselves around the hearts
Of all those around you who are in need

The wings of your prayers
Spread outward, like those of an Eagle
Wide enough to protect the souls
Of each and everyone who need you

The Wings of your prayers
Are gentle, like those of a dove
Tenderly nurturing the souls that are in your care
Treating them with kindness, and with unconditional love

We sometimes hear about miracles, and supernatural healings
We hear of Angels sent from God, and other heavenly things
Many of these wonders, some of us never get to feel, or to see
But we all somehow benefit, from your prayers with wings
